Each year, we honour our roots through significant celebrations, but this year, for the first time, we are excited to celebrate Bali Yatra in the UK—a key festival that commemorates Odisha’s maritime history and is an integral part of India’s civilisational heritage. This inaugural celebration in the UK is set to be a landmark event, bringing together diverse communities to showcase our rich maritime heritage on an international stage.

The event will highlight Odisha’s historical maritime connections and its crucial role in shaping India’s influence across Southeast Asia. Our aim is to create a unique socio-cultural and trade platform that reflects Odisha’s ancient traditions and practices. We are reaching out to local and national businesses and anticipate a large gathering of esteemed individuals from both Odisha and the UK, including politicians, entrepreneurs, artists, social workers, professors, doctors, engineers, and students. This celebration will also promote Odisha’s cultural heritage and provide vital opportunities for Odia entrepreneurs and professionals in the UK to connect with Odisha’s growth story.
